Returns
Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days and Buyer pays for return postage. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
For any goods that are required to be returned or exchanged, please make your request through email first. If you require any additional customer service, please contact our service team and provide your reference, name, phone number, delivery address, and inquiry details.
Please see our conditions below:
(a) Goods not required must be returned in original condition and packaging to Trent Parts Companywithin 7 days from receipt at the expense of the purchaser.
(b) A copy of the original invoice is to be presented with any goods returned, accompanied with a clear return explanation written on the invoice, your eBay reference, R.A. (Return Authorisation) number, and correct contact information.
(c) All returns of Goods are subject to a 20% handling/restocking fee, except for incorrectly supplied Goods.
(d) Any Goods supplied by Trent Parts Companythat are returned and have been fitted, painted and/or damaged, will not be acceptable for return or credit. We may request you to include pictures of the products condition prior to approving any returns.
(e) For all local deliveries, the Customer will be liable for any delivery or pickup charges incurred by Trent Parts Company for all incorrectly ordered Goods, or for Goods no longer required. A service fee may be considered against any refund should there be any complications or delays at the point of collection directly attributed to the customer.
(f) For all outer metropolitan and interstate deliveries, the following applies for any Goods supplied by Trent Parts Company that require to be returned for any reason;
(i) Under no circumstances are goods to be returned via the courier that has just delivered the goods, or by any other courier, otherwise the purchaser or receiver of the goods will be liable for all costs and losses incurred thereafter.
(ii) Any Goods required to be returned must have an R.A. (Return Authorisation) number provided by Trent Parts Company allowing use of their nominated courier. Unless these procedures are adhered to, Trent Parts Company will not be liable for any freight charges incurred.
(iii) The customer can choose to use their own courier at their own expense to return goods to Trent Parts Companyas well as adhering to point (2) in this section.
(g) Specially ordered parts are not returnable for credit
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: {2/27 Barcelona St. Box Hill Vic 3128}.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
